Who We Are

A non-profit Christian organization with a mission to help the less fortunate in our community who have no where else to turn. We seek to address the physical as well as the spiritual needs of those we serve.

What We Do

  • Provide emergency food, medicine, clothing, furniture, household items, funding for fuel, utilities, special needs, and free fans in the summer months.
  • Operate Joseph’s Storehouse, where we preserve and distribute perishable food we have collected from area Grocery stores, produce centers, restaurants, etc. to the “working poor”, elderly, and disabled.
  • Offer Bible study and free lunch daily for anyone who comes.
  • Help with the purchase/and or recycling of school uniforms.
  • Assist with the “Lord of the Harvest” free meal each Thanksgiving, served at Wendy’s restaurant.
  • Operate Finder’s Keepers and Finder’s Keepers Too – our resale shops whose low prices are life savers for those with limited income.
  • Have an ongoing counseling service led by Pastor Eddie Williams, which reaches out to many who have no where to go and feel that no one cares.
  • Keep a supply of household items on hand for burn-out victims and others who have been dispossed.

How You Can Help

  • Call us at (704) 289-4237 if you have furniture, clothing, or household items that you cannot use. We will pick it up. If you have a yardsale and have left over items, give us a call.
  • Encourage your school, church and other organizations to have a non-perishable food drive to help us carry out this part of the ministry.
  • Help us encourage restaurants, Wal-Mart, Aldi, Compare and other grocery stores to participate in our perishable food pick-up program. They are throwing tons of good food away every week.
  • Ask your church or group to choose a project to help raise money for our fuel fund. Purchasing heating fuel is such a great expense for the elderly and those with low income.
  • Challenge those in your youth organizations to collect change for a month. This is a project that can really make a difference in “changing” the lives of others.
  • Volunteer your group to help feed lunch to those who attend daily Bible Study.
  • Donations! We depend on your donations to carry on our ministry. We are accountable for every dollar.
